In the field or in our offices, our sales reps manage and develop a portfolio of customers. They provide a full range of sales-related services (individualised follow-up, rapid solutions, technical advice), ensuring quality service adapted to specific customer needs.

Our sales outlets offer employees numerous opportunities to provide customers with quality service. They are in charge of ensuring products are available and on display, greeting and giving advice, helping load vehicles or delivering goods on time. Working with the sales teams, the sales outlet associates are an integral part of our sales commitments.

Production sites for machining plastic or cement products

Our Group enjoys dedicated teams at three machining workshops and a concrete product facility. At each site, skilled employees work to produce standard and customised products. Their main objective is to create quality products while respecting deadlines.

Our logistics platform teams are responsible for verifying compliance of incoming goods as well as ensuring quality delivery while respecting deadlines. Fulfilled orders are delivered to Group sales outlets or directly to customers at specific worksites.

At the head office or at one of our Regional Offices, Group managers are in charge of ensuring and enhancing performance within their scope while motivating their teams in line with company strategy and Human Resources policy. Our managers are versatile, ensuring both operational and strategic missions within the Group.

Our recruitment process

Within the Group, we encourage diversity of profiles and are committed to the inclusion of people with disabilities. Beyond age, culture or gender, our recruitment process is focused on skills and potential.

The process is simple: candidates apply in one click by sending us their CV. Our recruitment teams review their application then contact them to talk over the phone or via a recorded video interview. This initial contact serves two purposes: to better understand the applicant’s motivations and their career.

The candidates are then invited to meet several representatives of the Frans Bonhomme Group (Human Resource reps or managers). These interviews are used to explore the applicant’s skills and abilities as well as to make sure the job corresponds to their profile and expectations.

Whatever the results of the recruitment process, we commit to providing each applicant with a response.

Our integration process

At the Frans Bonhomme Group, each new hire follows an integration program adapted to their position and profile. The goal is make new hires feel welcome and provide them with the means to appropriate their job responsibilities and certain technical skills.

Our internal training centre, Station Formation, offers qualifying or certificate training courses for many of the Group’s needs, compatible with the specificities of various jobs. These courses are personalised according to the profile of each new recruit. Combining online training, job and product training, mentoring, etc. they enable new hires to be operational and effective in their job as soon as possible.

For example, our “Bâtis Ton Parcours – Attaché Technico-Commercial” (‘Build your Career – Technical-Sales Rep’) integration process, developed in 2017, has been recognized twice for the quality of the program and overall HR approach. It was awarded Les Trophées du Négoce in the Training category and the Trophée d’Or du Printemps des Universités d’Entreprises U-Spring in the Sales & Sales Training category.

Our career enhancement tools

We provide skill development opportunities to our employees throughout their career. Several regularly scheduled meetings with managers enable to identify and take into account their new proficiencies and enhanced skill sets (annual performance reviews, career interviews, etc.)

We enable our colleagues to move forward by investing massively in training through a catalogue offering classroom training as well as digital programs, facilitating access to skill development for all employees.

We believe it is important to offer all employees a chance to build their career within the Group.  We always prefer promoting one of our employees to recruiting an external candidate.

To promote internal mobility, for example, we provide assistance in moving from one location to another. We also hold situation simulation days which enable us to identify potential candidates for advancement and to create skill development plans to prepare them for new job responsibilities.
